New Favorite

Here is my new favorite tassel. I made this one last Wednesday when Mo and I crafted. Mo was on a roll. She made about 9 tassels that day. I think she burned her fingers at least 4 times on that hot glue. OUCH!!

Big helper

What a sweet big sissy!! She loves her little sis so much! (Mimi had to help a little bit.)

Giving Thanks

I am so thankful for my awesome family. I am grateful to be a mother, wife, daughter, sister, friend, etc... My life is not perfect, but it's mine and I cherish it. Today is Luci's first Thanksgiving. She didn't get to enjoy the turkey, but she definitely enjoyed all the chaos! With so many people, there was lots to look at and listen to.

I know it's Turkey day, but Mia was a "ham"! She is such a little performer. She put on a show of the songs she is going to sing in her Christmas program. Sooooooooooo cute!

Another borrowed idea

My friend Stephanie introduced me to these cups. She also introduced me to the blog that has created them. They take a little while to make, but you get faster after each creation. (Right, Jenn??) Here are a few that I made. Mine are not near as fancy as the Tipsy Top gals. Their cups will blow you away! Our fifth grade students are making the medium size cups for their moms for Christmas. I'll post more pics when they finish.

Sassy Trees

These trees were very easy to make. The brown paper mache cones are from HL. The leopard tissue paper is Mod Podged on and the furry trim is hot glued to the bottom. The gold star ornaments make a cute tree topper.

Cute Frame

Here is a picture of a cute frame I made today. The frame is from Target and the crown is a knob from HobLob. A little hot glue and voila!! The picture of Luci makes the frame absolutely GORGEOUS!!

Crafting with Mo

Mo and I crafted today. We made lots of tassels and I made my leopard letters. They were super easy. I bought the gold wall letters from HobLob and Mod Podged leopard tissue paper onto them. I saw the idea at Mistletoe Market back in October.

I used more wrapping paper from HobLob on this bulletin board. Don't laugh at the missing number 2. I can't find it ANYWHERE!! I LOVE this paper!!

Hobby Lobby

So, I LOVE Hobby Lobby!!!! I could spend hours in there. I recently purchased some of their gorgeous wrapping paper. I thought it would be soooo cute to use in my classroom. Our class door for December is "Deck the Halls". I stole the stocking idea from a Hobby Lobby gift card holder. I used polka dot and vintage candy cane scrapbook paper for the sock, and leopard scrapbook paper for the top. Red and white pom pons are hot glued on there too! Sooooooooo cute. The kids love them. Their pictures are going to be "stuffed" in there. The pretty green paper is the wrapping paper.
